HUXLEY IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME Huxley is a beautiful 9 month old English Bulldog x Rottweiler pup who through no fault of his own has found himself looking for his forever home.
He has a fabulous temperament that really showcases the best of both breeds, the bulldog is shown through his lower energy than you would normally find in a pup his age and the Rottweiler is demonstrated by his trainability and eagerness to please and be with his pack.
He is going to be a big boy, he’s around 38kg already and I expect he will hit 45-50kg when fully grown but he is gentle and playful and would make a great addition to experienced owners (mostly due to his size/strength) that are happy to continue his basic training and socialisation and have children over 14 years, again who are used to larger dogs. He does mouth a little when excited but this is being trained out successfully.
He has so many superb qualities, he is great with other dogs and is happy to live with one, he is good with children, shopping trolleys, bikes, joggers and all the other triggers that can occur. He travels really well and enjoys a trip out in the car. He can be left for short periods as so far has not demonstrated any separation anxiety. His basic commands are in place and his recall is good, he does well off lead and on.
Introducing Huxley, formerly called Hooch who has come into AAI as a pts risk and owner surrender.
