UPDATE Truffle has been renamed Poppy!

My name is Truffle apparently, I never had a name before but I quite like it. I had a sister but she suddenly disappeared, I didn’t know what happened to her. Then the lady that feeds me told me people called Animal Adoption International came and took her to a place called England and she's now in sofa-land. It sounds nice and I wish it was me. Now I have been told that they heard about me and were sad. So they gave me a name, found me a sofa and now need something called money to bring me. Apparently if you all send a bit of this money £355, then I can go on the 9th. Am hoping this works though I don't understand it. PayPal https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/AAInt

and Mark Truffle, am praying for sofa land

Update November 2021

This is little Truffle who is one of the many reasons am on the verge of giving up rescue. I homechecked a woman who didn't get the dog as the foster decided to keep. I felt bad for her so discussed giving her another dog and she said this little dog was just her type. She was still in Romania but at a nice private shelter and so we decided, to make it easier for this woman, instead of sending her to her pre arranged foster home we would put her in a kennels in Hampshire that we use for a week just to check all was OK. She even named her this stupid name. Two days after she arrived she messaged saying she was getting a Bosnian dig. I was aghast as this little one had lost out on a foster home and we were stuck with a kennel bill. I said this and she said oh I would be willing to take both dogs. That was fine and we made her a nice video of Truffle. Her reply was thanks and that her dog arrives on Dec 7th and she would need a few weeks to settle him and if anyone else comes along in the mean time then that was OK. No thought that we had brought this dog near to her for her convenience that the dog could have been in a foster home, that we as a tiny struggling rescue would now be stuck with more kennel bills. She then denied we had any arrangement at all. What happened was she saw a cuter dog and changed her mind and never mind who she hurt. Upside is this dog will be stuck in kennels till after Xmas, along with a few returns and foster give backs and we are not going to be able to cope. So just for clarification it isn't the dogs that are making me think to stop but the people. ANYWAY THIS DOG ISN'T GOING TO BE CALLED TRUFFLE, so if anyone wants to rename her for £25 to her kennel bill please do. First person on the thread. If anyone wants to donate to her or any of the others that are going to kennels this week please do also via PayPal animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com and Mark kennels thank u

Quick update on our scared girl Sadie

Quick update on our scared girl Sadie who arrived at foster with C.A . She's doing way better than we ever imagined and is looking relaxed and happy. Super outcome for this girl who spent so long waiting for a chance. We can't do this work without good, reliable fosters who are the backbone of rescue and something so few people are willing to do. In all these years in rescue I still only have a handful of fosters BUT they are great ones.

Meet Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is a 13 week old male Cross-Breed. He is as you see beautiful hence his name. He is mischievous as a puppy is going to be and he will be on the larger size of medium we think. He is fostered in Oxfordshire and another dog a definite plus. He would be too much for a shy cat or small children.

For further details regarding adopting a dog from Animal Adoption International, based in London, please email: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com or telephone: 07949 552645. Please note, all dogs rehomed via this rescue will be spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. A home check will be carried out pre-adoption and full post adoption support is offered.

Introducing Marigold

Marigold is a 5 month old female Corgi cross Dachshund. Anyone that gets this girl will be so lucky. She loves everyone and get definitely live with other dogs and well behaved children. She needs a female only home as the man seemed to be the issue.

Introducing Geordie

Introducing Geordie, he is a lovely collie/lab/shepherd cross looking for his home. He is 8 years old so looking for a retirement home. He is great with people and other dogs though deserves to live with nothing too bouncy. No kids, not because he is not good but because he deserves some peace at his age although visiting children fine. He is in Portsmouth and is a real peach.

If you could offer Geordie a forever home please email: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com or contact via the Animal Adoption International facebook page .

Markos is 9 years old pointer cross that has spent most of his life in a Greek shelter

Markos is 9 years old pointer cross that has spent most of his life in a Greek shelter. He’s now looking for his forever home to enjoy the life he deserves. He adores people and cuddles and is a seriously lovely boy, perfect for a pet-free family. Markos doesn’t like male dogs and can only be with some female dogs, so he’s better rehomed with no dogs at all. He has a high prey drive as per his breed so no cats or small furries please. He would be better suited to people who are around a lot (working from home all the time and not just for Covid-19) or retired but still active. Markos is clean in the house and walks well on a lead and still needs a fair bit of exercise. He would love a largish secure garden for his retirement. Am sure he would be good with visiting children as he loves them when he meets them but as with all our older dogs we think they deserve a quieter life and so wont be considering a home with children. Please consider giving this lovely boy his retirement home

Bric and Brac update

Neither are ready for rehoming as yet but are at least safe and happy. Big thanks to Gill Boot for fostering Bric and Alex Vera for fostering Brac FOSTERING SAVES LIVES

Calvin and Ginny are looking for a home together

These two beautiful dogs are looking for a home together. They are both older but not too old 7ish and still active. Calvin is the black and white collie cross boy and Ginny is the lab cross girl. Calvin is super laid back and a gentleman. Ginny is more active and can bark at other dogs on the lead when out but is fine with the other dogs in the house and is a cuddle bug.
No cats or children please, they are not good with cats and no children just because they are older and deserve a nice calm house although they do live at the moment with a 13 year old and are around the fosters grandchildren. They are fostered in Harrogate please share. Please Email Niz Khan. At Animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com

Can you help Reggie?

Reggie is AAIs next dog that needs his private pension paid for this month. If you can donate at all please paypal www.paypal.me/AAInt and Mark for reggie thank you.
