RIP beautiful Peanut.

Such sad news, beautiful Peanut suffered a sudden heart attack yesterday and passed away. She was on her second home, her first home she was in a few years and her lovely owner died suddenly. Luckily her foster took her back and she got on so well with her fosters new foster Daisy that a lovely family decided to home them together. Sadly she was diagnosed with stage 4 heart failure but had a wonderful year and a half with them. We went to see her on Sunday and she looked amazing and was super happy. That's all we can hope for them . She got lucky twice in 2 fab homes. Thank you to Peanuts family for doing her proud RIP beautiful Peanut.

Ruby is now ready for her forever home !

Meet Ruby, age 4 mixed breed from Romania (medium - small), currently fostered in Devon

🐕Ruby is a sweet and calm dog. She is not aggressive and good with other dogs and older children. Ruby adores woman, and feels very comfortable and confident around them. She loves playing with women and dogs. It is clear that Ruby has had a traumatic past as she is scared and anxious around men. For this reason, Ruby would best be adopted to a female owner, or a family with other dogs so Ruby can learn to become confident with men through the example of other dogs. She is well-natured, loyal, and big-hearted. She's just waiting for a patient owner to give her a second chance at happiness ♥️ She is fostered on Devon.

Could you be that special human to find Brac a home?

Gorgeous Brac has been looking for his home for months now. He is a super little boy with a few workable fear issues. He is definitely more comfortable with women than men so an all female household would be the best. He lives with another dog but can be reactive outside but again he is getting better with this. He is not cat tested so no cats and not child tested so no kids. He is fostered in Newcastle area.

Easter appeal for Dodo

Our Easter appeal is for Dodo. While washing his car in Cyprus, a friend Jack had little Dodo literally leap into his lap. He was traumatised, covered in oil stains and tics. Obviously dumped and needing some care. Jack cleaned him up and we offered to bring him to the UK to find him a home. We thought we had lots if time as he was treated for a tic desease and then we wanted to sterilise him but things have taken a turn which means Dodo needs to be out quickly. Someone in the village has started to claim Dodo is his. Jack did it all legally, declaring found and waiting the required tine before registering as his but this is a village in Cyprus and he is an outsider. We have decided to get him out ASAP and a flight is on the 15th April but need to desperately raise flight costs. All prep and vet costs have been raised so far by a supporters fundraiser. Flight is £385 and today we had a £50 donation from a friend of Sian Bishop at her request for her birthday big thank you and will put to Dodo. Please help raise the rest by donating via PayPal to  paypal.me/AAInt and Mark Dodo thank u

Sonia pit bull mix Romania

Sonia was taken out of the public shelter 2 years ago, very thin and sickly and no one realised she was a pit bull mix and so sadly can't come to the uk although is super friendly to people. She is in a nicer private shelter in Romania and gets out of her pen frequently but if anyone know of any people in bully friendly countries please share her. She has 10 euros of her shelter fee covered this month but needs 15 euros to keep her safe. If anyone can donate to her please paypal www.paypal.me/AAInt  and Mark for Sonia thank you

Scared Girls Wilma and Pearl

AAI are sadly very behind with kennel fees this month and these two girls need help to stay in their private shelter in Romania. They are way too scared to bring them to the UK without having somewhere they can go where we can be sure they will be worked with and not asked to be removed a few weeks or months down the line so the best thing at the moment is for them to stay where they are which at least we know is a good shelter where they are cared for. We do need to raise 50 euros this month to keep them there though so please think about donating a little to them if you can, PAYPAL: www.paypal.me/AAInt and please mark for scared girls.

URGENT KENNEL APPEAL

URGENT KENNEL APPEAL
We now have 23 dogs in kennels awaiting their forever home. This winter has been an exceptionally busy time as we have had so many emergency requests from shelters across Europe to get dogs to safety especially given the huge uncertainties with regulations after BREXIT.
As you know we have some amazing foster families but these are in seriously short supply so the only option we have is to pay for kennel boarding fees while the dogs await their forever home. As you know we are working night and day to find families and we are so blessed knowing the overwhelming majority have found the most amazing loving homes any dog could wish for
The total number of dogs in kennels is 23.
The total monthly bill is £1000 and this is really draining our funds.
Many of you do support AAI with monthly donations and these are so appreciated as they are a lifeline. Sadly, even these are not covering all the kennel costs, we have about £100 a month of that covered at present, if anyone wants to join the monthly donation list please let me know
If any supporters and friends could possibly help to cover these extra costs we are incurring for the sake of these adorable dogs please, please, please consider sending something
PAYPAL: www.paypal.me/AAInt
Please add a note KENNEL FEES so we can ring fence these donations.
Here are some photos of the dogs now safe in kennels but who so desperately need to have their boarding costs covered. If we had not placed them in kennels their fate would have been death. Please help us to help keep them safe, fed, healthy and loved.
As always, your donations will be lovingly and gratefully received.

REMEMBERING DOMINO

So today it has been a whole year I have spent without my gorgeous and clever boy Domino. I cant quite believe he has been gone that long and still doesn't seem real. I would give almost anything still to have him back with me and the pain is still in my heart. Domino was truly a unique and wonderful companion and he gave me such joy although his time was sadly cut short and he went far to suddenly and soon. I know many people sent me photos after he died and I didn't store any of them as felt too painful at the time, so am going to make a REMEMBERING DOMINO group and I will ask people to add them again and hopefully they will. Things have moved on here and little Jack from China and Olive from Thailand have joined us but there is one big special compartment in my heart that no one else can fill, that is always for you Dom, I love you
