RIP Cassie your life mattered

Such terribly sad news. Old Cassie was rescued out of Milhesti public shelter last November. She got so lucky and was adopted by the wonderful Frances McGrath and should have had a couple of lovely years. Sadly she only got 3 and a half months as a week ago she was found to have a fast growing inoperable tumour; cancer of the nerve sheath and had been there for a long time. Today was her time to go and she went quietly on a sofa being cuddled by Francis. I feel so bad she lost her so soon but actually so grateful she didn't go on a cold hard floor in a Romanian public shelter and had a few months knowing comfort and she was loved. RIP Cassie your life mattered and sending hugs to her mum.

Can anyone help me please, I am desperate. Two years of my life has been wasted by humans locking me up in Milhesti public shelter. I didn't do anything wrong as far as I know but still ended up there. I have had some luck as a couple of ladies came and took me to another place where people are nicer to me and am being looked after better but it is still a cold kennel. They gave me a name, KANE because they said everyone deserves a name. I am also fully funded to go the UK I hear and the other dogs got all excited for me as they said it is doggie nirvana. Apparently all I need is a foster offer, so can foster please offer, whoever that maybe, I don't really understand that term. My new carers say I am there favourite dog now in the shelter as I am so happy and friendly. I love people and am good with other doggies and am 6 years old. Urgent Fundraiser!!

This is Jessy a sweet little pup we had pulled from the disgusting kill shelter Mihailesti Bucharest a few months ago. She's been safe in shelter  since then and now her time has come to foster with our experienced puppy fosterer. A transport space came up quickly now Loraine has space and so she's due to travel this Friday!

£190 for her ticket to her new life is needed plus there will be money to pay for internal transport Sheffield Kennels to foster in Harrogate (transport volunteer required). We also must pay off her preparation passporting vaccines etc so approx £250 needed.

Meet Floppy

This is little Floppy, taken out of the awful public shelter of Milhesti, his sibling didn't make it. Now a really good rescue in the UK has offered him a place for rehoming and we need to raise the funds for him to go £190 for transport and traces kennels and £60 for prep. Floppy can leave Romania and escape the horrible winter on 9th of Nov if this happens. Bailey needs help! Just look at this beautiful soppy friendly boy. He has waited in a pen for over a year waiting for an opportunity to come to the UK for a chance at life. He was pulled him out of Mihailesti public shelter (a horrific death camp and one I will never forget visiting ) and so we have taken up the job of overseeing his future. He has a chance to go to a lovely rescue centre we know well for rehoming but we must raise his transport funds. Unsure of the exact cost right now as will depend on cost of internal uk transport to the centre on top of transport from Romania but with prep too looking at around the £300 mark.

We have been really struggling recently with donations. I know every rescue and cause always need help and I know there's only so much a person can give but without support on social media we just cannot do what we do. Lily is adopted!

Another one joins the failed fosterers club! 2 days Michelle managed! Remember I posted saying I had recruited some new fosterers as we had so many dogs needing placing? That was last week...this week Michelle has adopted Lily who now lives with 2 other dogs including another one from me adopted years ago. So.......i need more fosterers again! Any volunteers?
