Long John Silver a social media star again!

Somehow missed this on my email but our very own Long John Silver and his journey from a train station in India with a hacked off leg to his retirement home in Bristol documented here.
Big thanks to all involved in his and Clementines rescue, his girlfirend, though sadly they got divorced lol. We are expecting a visit form Long John on the 8th of August and so will hide all my chewables! Long John Silver didn't have the best start in life but is now living his best life with owner Steve Pugh and his pal, Patch.

Have a great life Oscar, I'm going to miss you

So tonight is my last night with my amazing Foster boy Oscar he arrived in England with no name and a shell of a dog scared of his own shadow.
So he started his journey a new name -(Oscar) and a chance to be happy and learn not to be terrified any more.

This boy has been a dream. I'm literally heart broken to give him up but the family I've found him are going to literally love him and spoil him so much. So as sad as I am to see him go I'm totally over the moon and confident he's going to have the most amazing life. And I've been told I can visit any time so as of tomorrow he can begin a new chapter and spend the rest of his days being loved and happy
And ill wait and look forward to my next Foster baby and next challenge.

Beautiful Raffles is reserved for adoption

Beautiful Raffles is reserved for adoption. We are just waiting till some building extension work is finished and she will be on her way to her new home. She has come on in leaps and bounds with Alex Claridge and now enjoys strokes and tummy tickles. She is going to a super experienced home with an array of other dogs coming and going and one constant lurcher pal, she will love this as is so dog orientated.

Nelly has a new forever home! UPDATE

Lovely Nellie (now Ellie) who I walked now in her new home 🏠. She wasn’t a foster, I was just her walker for the rescue but we enjoyed our walks by the river. Such a loving and kind dog, chucked out of her home in Romania where she waited outside for weeks hoping to be let back in. I only met her new owners for a short while but asked if they could keep me posted on her and they’ve sent me these lovely pics. The first is a photo I took while out on a river walk. Love a happy ending!

Olive from Romania update

Who remembers old Olive from Romania. She came to the UK in 2015 and we didn't realise she was so old until she got here, not that that would have made any difference. She was estimated to be 13 years old and needed 15 teeth extracted and had a few lumps and bumps here and there. I really thought I would have to adopt her myself as who would want a 13 year old, practically toothless dog. BUT there was a ton of applications for her and she bagged herself a fab home in Surrey and got a great retirement home. I hadn't heard anything of her for a couple of years and tentatively messaged the adopters thinking she was had probably gone to the rainbow bridge. BUT NO she is still here and still running around like a pup and here she is in her fav position. She must be around 16 years old now, am so happy for this old girl
