Beautiful little Lexa is now looking for her forever home.

Beautiful little Lexa is a little terrier now looking for her forever home. She is a 5 month old puppy, so naturally she has a cheeky and playful temperament. She loves cuddles, food and playing fetch and tug of war.She is a clever girl, who loves to learn and is fully house trained and sleeps through the night. She knows her basic commands like sit, down, recall and paw, but would benefit from a structured training programme. She is getting better at walking on a lead, but still gets very excited and pulls a lot, so her new humans will need to be happy to work on this with her. She loves other dogs, and would benefit from a family who have a young adult dog who will teach her manners, so we are ONLY looking for homes with other dogs. . She has a fairly high prey drive and is not good with cats. She will need a secure garden and space to run around. She is a wonderful dog who has so much love to give the right humans! Please email animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com only if seriously interested.

UPDATE Truffle has been renamed Poppy!

My name is Truffle apparently, I never had a name before but I quite like it. I had a sister but she suddenly disappeared, I didn’t know what happened to her. Then the lady that feeds me told me people called Animal Adoption International came and took her to a place called England and she's now in sofa-land. It sounds nice and I wish it was me. Now I have been told that they heard about me and were sad. So they gave me a name, found me a sofa and now need something called money to bring me. Apparently if you all send a bit of this money £355, then I can go on the 9th. Am hoping this works though I don't understand it. PayPal https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/AAInt

and Mark Truffle, am praying for sofa land

Update November 2021

This is little Truffle who is one of the many reasons am on the verge of giving up rescue. I homechecked a woman who didn't get the dog as the foster decided to keep. I felt bad for her so discussed giving her another dog and she said this little dog was just her type. She was still in Romania but at a nice private shelter and so we decided, to make it easier for this woman, instead of sending her to her pre arranged foster home we would put her in a kennels in Hampshire that we use for a week just to check all was OK. She even named her this stupid name. Two days after she arrived she messaged saying she was getting a Bosnian dig. I was aghast as this little one had lost out on a foster home and we were stuck with a kennel bill. I said this and she said oh I would be willing to take both dogs. That was fine and we made her a nice video of Truffle. Her reply was thanks and that her dog arrives on Dec 7th and she would need a few weeks to settle him and if anyone else comes along in the mean time then that was OK. No thought that we had brought this dog near to her for her convenience that the dog could have been in a foster home, that we as a tiny struggling rescue would now be stuck with more kennel bills. She then denied we had any arrangement at all. What happened was she saw a cuter dog and changed her mind and never mind who she hurt. Upside is this dog will be stuck in kennels till after Xmas, along with a few returns and foster give backs and we are not going to be able to cope. So just for clarification it isn't the dogs that are making me think to stop but the people. ANYWAY THIS DOG ISN'T GOING TO BE CALLED TRUFFLE, so if anyone wants to rename her for £25 to her kennel bill please do. First person on the thread. If anyone wants to donate to her or any of the others that are going to kennels this week please do also via PayPal animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com and Mark kennels thank u

Gorgeous Pico is setting off on the long journey from Thailand

FOSTER NEEDED Gorgeous Pico is setting off on the long journey from Thailand at last on the 6th Nov. For those that don't know his story, he was found as a starving pup on Koh Chang and seemed to get his happy ending when he was adopted by a Swiss guy who lives there. Alas once he got a live in girlfriend and 2 cats Pico was thrown out on the street and again was a starving street dog. Pico has spent a good while now in a shelter as AAI agreed to take him and he got lucky with a flight to the UK . Sadly we couldn't find a foster in time and he is heading to kennels here. It would be amazing if a foster was found. He is dog friendly but has not been tested with cats or children. please email animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com only if you can help. Many thanks.

Quick update on our scared girl Sadie

Quick update on our scared girl Sadie who arrived at foster with C.A . She's doing way better than we ever imagined and is looking relaxed and happy. Super outcome for this girl who spent so long waiting for a chance. We can't do this work without good, reliable fosters who are the backbone of rescue and something so few people are willing to do. In all these years in rescue I still only have a handful of fosters BUT they are great ones.

Ruby is now ready for her forever home !

Meet Ruby, age 4 mixed breed from Romania (medium - small), currently fostered in Devon

🐕Ruby is a sweet and calm dog. She is not aggressive and good with other dogs and older children. Ruby adores woman, and feels very comfortable and confident around them. She loves playing with women and dogs. It is clear that Ruby has had a traumatic past as she is scared and anxious around men. For this reason, Ruby would best be adopted to a female owner, or a family with other dogs so Ruby can learn to become confident with men through the example of other dogs. She is well-natured, loyal, and big-hearted. She's just waiting for a patient owner to give her a second chance at happiness ♥️ She is fostered on Devon.

Could you be that special human to find Brac a home?

Gorgeous Brac has been looking for his home for months now. He is a super little boy with a few workable fear issues. He is definitely more comfortable with women than men so an all female household would be the best. He lives with another dog but can be reactive outside but again he is getting better with this. He is not cat tested so no cats and not child tested so no kids. He is fostered in Newcastle area.

HELP Foster pulled out leaving this bonded pair without anywhere to go

HELP Foster pulled out leaving this bonded pair without anywhere to go. If you are in UK and able to help with that or their travel funds see screenshot. They need secure garden 6ft fence and probably child free home as history unknown. This is Hansel and Gretel, these little things were in Pallady the infamous Romanian public shelter. They could travel to the UK on the 9th but there are two issues. Firstly I thought they had a foster offer and the foster was fixing their fence but now been told it's not happening and secondly the funds need to be raised, £200 each for transport and £60 each for passport and prep. They need to stay together as are bonded, Please PM if you can help and if you can donate a bit to help them please paypal www.paypal.me/AAInt and Mark Hansel and Gretel please share Thank you #fostersaveslives #AdoptDontShop

lovely Lulu has bagged herself a forever home

So lovely Lulu has bagged herself a forever home without even being advertised. She is quite special to me as she was taken out of the public shelter in Romania on the anniversary of Dominos death as she was black and white like hi lost my beautiful boy Domino (the last picture) this time last year. I miss him so badly even after a year and he still breaks my heart. I have looked for another dog to rescue in his name and found this girl in Palladay. I wanted it to be a scruffy black and white one. So I set up a fund to get her out and to the UK.

She has been fostered in the Uk for a couple of months and has settled in a dream. I was contacted by a lady who walks the dog of a couple who sadly lost one of their dogs a few months ago and since then their remaining dog has suffered serious separation anxiety sadly. They were looking for a no issue, doggy friendly, calm and loving companion for him and Lulu fits the bill to a tee. She goes to her new family on Wednesday and am sure she is going to have a great life. Thank you to everyone that donated and shared for her.

We went over on Bibi's funding by £25 so we need to raise £175 to get her on the transport.
