This is gorgeous old Geordie who was rescued out of the horrible Breasta public shelter in Romania. He was taken out and found to have a tumour that has now been removed thankfully. He can leave for the UK next week if this old boys travel funds can be raised of £180 transport and 70 euros prep and passport. So lovely Kelli who spent her whole life nearly in a Greek shelter has found a loving home with AAI foster Eleanor, lovely ending for her and she gets to live with her pals.

Yep she's arrived!.. Beatiful 11 year old Kelli has just made the car trip across London from her wonderful foster home with Gill where she's spent the last 7 months. She's now in her forever family with her mum Eleanor & her best friends from Syros Ektoras & Ismini!!..

Three Greek dogs who spent 10+ years in the same kennel at the Syros Stray Animal Shelter / Καταφύγιο Αδέσποτων Ζώων Σύρου are now reunited & living together in their new retirement home in England!

We are so happy for these 3 seniors and can't believe they will all be together! They were best friends at the shelter & this is like a dream come true!

It definitely takes a "village" to make this happen so we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped along the way. Firstly to Virginia Preka & all the shelter voluneers from Syros who has cared & loved these dogs for so many years. A huge thank you to Niz Khan for re-homing these beautiful dogs in such a great family, to Gill Boot for providing the most wonderful foster environment & bringing Kelli out of her shell and to Eleanor Moss for opening her heart so widely & giving a beautiful loving home to 3 dogs from Greece whom she'd never met previously and providing them with a loving caring home.

 The  video is Kelli's first hours in her new home with her old friends. She's the one with the red harness, they are all so alike "pea's in a pod"!

ADOPTED Can you foster or adopt Cassie?

I am an old lady called Cassie, am not sure why my owner dumped me in a public shelter because I loved him and I think I was a good dog. Did he die maybe? Or did he just get bored of me? I am a bit quiet and not a bundle of fun like a puppy but I have a true heart and give lots of love to my carers. I hope I am not too boring now and that no one will adopt me. All I want is a sofa and to escape Romania and the shelter before this Brexit thing that people keep talking about that will maybe stop me finding a home and I might have to stay here forever. Remember old Rosie, the 13 year old girl that has been kept on a chain all her life and rescued in Romania. Well she has arrived in her foster home and surprised everyone by not being scared and settling in very nicely. Thank you to everyone that donated and shared for this lovely old girl and  helped with her fostering and transport in the UK

Black jack goes crazy for tummy tickles! He's an older chap looking for a retirement home. Ignores other dogs but would prefer a home where he is the Centre of attention. He's not getting any interest at the moment and would love to leave boarding for a home of his own for the first time in his life

Meet Peggy a 6 year old mixed breed little girl

Peggy is a 6 year old mixed breed little girl looking for her forever home. She is currently fostering in West Sussex with 3 other female dogs and 4 cats. Available for adoption further afield in uk if apllicant willing to travel. Peggy is incredibly affectionate and adores all people including the little children she has met. She is confident outgoing playful and great with all other dogs and cats. She can be homed as an only dog or with others. Peggy really enjoys her walks and she walks beautifully. We are looking for a loving home for her who is also dog experienced as she can be quite the escape artist. She's quick through doors and has been known to exit through a window so important her adopter is safety conscious and preferably has a porch or back utility room etc for safety....the "air lock" as I call it when doors opened. This 12 year old boy deserves another chance of a loving family of his own, he has the most gentle sweet sturdy fella with a beautiful nature. Other dogs he is wonderful with and allows young children to cuddle him and is so patient with them. He doesn't bat an eyelid at the cats.
