Luca is still looking for his forever home

Unbelievably Luca is still looking for his forever home. He is a beautiful, well behaved boy from Crete, two years old and a joy to be around. He is very friendly with people and dogs but doubt he will be cat friendly, so no cats. He must be homed with another dog we have decided as don't think he will be happy without one as very playful and loves other dogs so much. He is fostered in Guildford area and looking for his final home.
If you can help please email Niz: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com ref  Luca or contact via the Animal Adoption International facebook page Thank you

Jessie and Teo are two lovely friendly year old pups looking for a forever home

Jessie and Teo are two lovely friendly year old pups looking for a forever home. They are being advertised separately and of course if the right homes come up will do that but have been talking to the foster and would love if possible for them to find a home together as they get on so well and have been together months now. They are both lovely and friendly with people dogs and children, not cat tested and fostered in Harrogate. Please can we have a big big share to see if we can make this happen as would be a dream come true.

Another big push for these two lovelies, They have been in foster for a while now and we would both loved to get them homed together as they are buddies. If you can foster please email Niz: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com ref  Teo and Jessie or contact via the Animal Adoption International facebook page Thank you

Can you help Jack? A dog rescued from the cruel dog meat trade?

I have been asked to take two little dogs rescued from the dog meat trade in China. This is poignant with the Yulin festival about to start. The first is little Jack who was caught by his paw in a dog trap, a common method to catch dogs for the meat trade. Thankfully he was rescued before they came back to check the trap and now I have been begged to find him a foster as there is a flight volunteer flight available on the 23rd June. He is a shy little boy but non aggressive, just needs some love to get over his trauma. If you can foster please

Plz  email Niz: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com ref Jack or contact via the Animal Adoption International facebook page .

Would anyone be able to foster Greta, she is a small size friendly little girl and has been waiting now so long for her chance.  Please share for her

UPDATE ON GRETA
So little Greta has arrived at her lovely foster home with Angela Roeder and settled in very nicely. She is a very sweet little girl and is going to make someone a lovely companion. She is getting on well with everyone, including the chickens. She was taken to Raluca Mihaela Scarlat shelter for spaying and then they dumped this poor girl there but in the end was probably a blessing in disguise as she is now in the UK and will get a fabulous home am sure

Thank you to  for further donations to Greta , we have raised £150 of the £300 for her transport, prep and passport. Please share and paypal Animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com and mark for Greta if you can make a donation thanks you

GRETA CAN LEAVE TOMORROW IF WE RAISE HER FUNDS

With everything going on with Devon and doing a meet and greet for Gracie and collecting Nanuk who is coming back to foster to me as Sue and Phil are on holiday now I totally forgot about poor little Greta who has been waiting patiently to come to the UK to be homed. She now has a foster offer and can leave in the next few days if her transport and prep is raised. She needs £300 for her prep and passport and transport. If you can help little Greta please paypal

Luca Update Thanks to all your donations lovely Luca from Crete has come to the UK.

Thanks to all your donations lovely Luca from Crete has come to the UK. He is now in a foster with lovely Michelle and he is doing brilliantly.

We were asked to help this dog called Luca in Crete in January, a place I spent a good part of my youth in so is close to my heart. Although beautiful, I know what a shit hole it is for animals. Dogs have been found hanging from a tree in the same region.

Please get in touch if you would like to offer Luca a forever Home.
If you could offer Luca a forever home please email: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com or contact via the Animal Adoption International facebook page . Ref Luca

Nanuk is a loving boy looking for a foster home ADOPTED

I have had the week from hell with three fosters returning their dogs and two are sorted and Nanuk I put into private boarding with a home dog sitter but at £22 a day this is not sustainable so he is looking for a foster. He was brought to my attention when owner surrendered him to infamous shelter.
Nanuk  is full of energy though and could do with another dog to play with and does get a bit too enthusiastic when trying to play and mouths so this needs to be corrected. His best home would be a middle aged couple with another dog to play with. He is fostered in the London area Please Share.

He is dog friendly and very loving, a little nervous the first day but soon warms up. If you can foster or even better are looking for a lovely 2 year old lab cross to home please PM me. He is at the moment in the London area. .
If anyone can spare a little something for Nanuk whilst he is in his private boarding please PAYPAL: https://www.paypal.me/AAInt ref  Nanuk
Better still if you can offer Nanuk a foster or a forever home please get in touch with  email: animaladoptioninternational@yahoo.com or contact via the Animal Adoption International facebook page .

RIP Poor Dona

This is our beautiful Dona who was rescued as a small pup off the streets of Kosovo. She spent her short life in an over crowded pension near Pristina. Not much of a life for a dog but a few weeks ago she came to the UK. I went over to pick her and Humphrey up with Meg Ardner who has helped so many of these pups. They were both so good on the journey back and we thought it was because they knew they were heading to a better life. Sadly for Dona, nothing could have been further from the truth. They were placed with another rescue that had fab facilities and both have found a home. Dona though was only in her home for two days before the new adopters took her out for a walk, something that you should not do with a nervous street dog for a week at least, did not put a double lead on her. She got spooked and got off her collar and was gone. I keep going over in my head that she spent the last few hours of her life terrified and running. She was killed by a train. Everyone involved in her rescue is devastated. I believe the rescue gave them the instructions and the new owners  ignored them and so got my lovely Dona killed. I am not sure that I will continue to bring dogs over bar the many I am already committed to in Greece, Thailand , Kosovo, China and Romania. For sure if I do I will only be homing the dogs myself. This scenario is happening again and again with people not listening, only today on my local common I got abuse for telling a recently adopted adopter of a dog that is nervous that has already been lost once when arrived in the UK that it should have a harness on as well as a collar. These people who always think they know better are getting these dogs killed and all our hard work being for nothing. R I P my lovely Dona, I failed you for sure and am so sorry, you deserved so much better than you got. RIP xxx

BlackJack, who has waited so long, has bagged himself a home at last.

Some good news, BlackJack, who has waited so long, a year and a half I believe has bagged himself a home at last. He is an old boy with a few issues, he doesn't like his collar touched and can bite due to fear, I suspect from his experiences with the dog catcher. He was adopted a few months ago but returned but his new adopter is well experienced with difficult dogs and although he has this issue is generally a love bug and wants cuddles. Thank you Alison for looking after him all this time and putting up with his stinkiness when he arrived. Have a fabulous life Black Jack
