Sarah has been waiting in a shelter in Romania now for nearly a year

This is Sarah, she has been waiting in a shelter in Romania now for nearly a year for someone to help her. She was initially taken out by mistake as the dog wanted was Snoopy but when this was discovered another 'rescuer' said they would take her on as she couldn't go back and even got a sponsor for the first three months which was not paid. Anyway I have said we will take her and will need to raise her transport but first we need a foster offer for her. She is shy but nothing nasty about her at all and just will need someone with patience and a secure house and love to give her. Meet Gusti

This is Gusti, he is looking for either a foster home or forever home. He is a cute little fella, good with dogs, ignores cats on walks but will need to be tested, ignores sheep etc as well. He is good on lead and clean in the house and a lovely boy. He has one issue, he is fine with everyone outside, loving and cuddly but in the house he becomes guardy of the lady of the house and barks at the other members of the house hold. 

That is as far as it goes though so think if someone was prepared to work with him that it could be overcome. So either people that can work with him or a single person household is needed. Please share and stop this little boy having to go to kennels.

Welcome to the UK Olive

Olive is such a lovely girl, a 2 year old Basenji cross with a traumatic past. She was attacked with a machette while minding her own business in Thailand. Luckily for her she was rescued by a lovely English woman who lives out there. She struggled when she first arrived but with patience and love she has come through. Cheeky and fun loving she is looking for her perfect home. We feel that she would be best placed with older children who will understand her needing time to settle in. She would also be best as an only dog and not cat tested. She is fostered in the Portsmouth area.

Urgent Sponsor needed for this Kosovo pup on the streets!

We have been asked to help this pup in Kosovo, he is wandering the streets and only a few months old. It is very dangerous for these types of dogs in Kosovo as they are frequently taken off the streets and used for dog fighting. This little lad is very sad but being fed by a girl there but she has no solution for him. To help him we will need reliable sponsors, the pension cost is 50 euro a month and can be split between 2 or 3 or even 4 but it will take 5 months for this pup to come as they are outside of the EU. Arnold was dumped on the streets of Bucharest

This is little Arnold, he was dumped on the streets of Bucharest and I was asked if our rescue would take him. Sadly we then found out why he was dumped as he has hip dysplasia. He has been going to weekly hyrotherapy sessions which has run up a bill along with his pension. Together with his prep and transport we need to raise approx. £500. Lovely Beatrice has found herself the perfect forever home.

So lovely Beatrice has found herself the perfect forever home. She has had a bit of a journey somehow ending up in the infamous Danyflor shelter she was taken out and caught up in the South Killingholme raid in March this year. She was held by the RSPCA for three months while they verified who the owners of all the animals were that were seized but eventually we got her back. Alas, we found out she had tested positive for heartworm and had not been treated. Thankfully she was only just at the beginning and it was treated successfully. She bagged herself a great foster home in the form of Kaisha and Greg and Tommo who have loved and cared for her and are really sad to see her go BUT she is now ready for her forever life and will be moving to Folkstone at the weekend with her new Mum and Dad who are super excited. Good luck Beatrice, it has been a pleasure to know and walk this girl everyday, she is a really special soul and we all love her very much.

Nora needs a forever home

Some of you who have followed the rescue for years may remember Nora. She was hand reared by Luiza Mataca in Romania from a tiny pup. I drove her to the UK myself. After a few months of fostering (I saw her alot in the time she fostered close to me), she found her adoptive home where she has been for 3.5 years until recently.

Nora has come back into rescue and is now in emergency boarding with the lovely Alison Clark but needs a true forever home.

Nora is 5 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is looking for a home where she can be the centre of attention preferably as an only dog. She is active but not high energy and has always loved her walks and socialising on walks. She is incredibly loving and affectionate but can be a little nervous of new people. However, she soon makes friends.

Help Bootsy raise some funds for Animal Adoption International

Hi (Bună) everyone, my name is Bootsy. I am trying to raise money for my international fur friends who need our help! I am going to be running a marathon over Snowdonia on September 29th!
I am a rescue girl from the  Romania and I was rescued by a lovely charity called Animal Adoptions International when I was scared and sad on the streets. I came to the UK when I was 6months and was adopted by my Mam, Saskia when I was 9months. I am a very shy girl, because I struggle to trust people. I have been working very hard to gain confidence in puppy things I never knew. I love playing with plastic bottles I find (and recycling them), eating things im not supposed to, eating in general, barking at strangers then trying to sit on their knees 10 seconds after, playing with my cat sisters, hiking, running, eating, watching Jeremy Kyle, cuddles, eating and playing with my favourite toys. So I have come up with an idea to not only raise awareness for how much my international siblings need a home, but also to help raise some funds for my charity. They work around the clock and struggle with enough funds to provide the help my friends need! So my mother and I are going to run a marathon over Snowdonia, in Wales on the 29th of September. We train every day in the hopes we can get it all completed in the cut off time. My aim is to raise £1000 for my friends who really need some lovely food in their tummies, medication to get better, a warm bed to sleep in and some cuddles and kisses. URGENT Sofia needs an experienced only dog foster by end of the month (RESERVED 29.8.18)

This is lovely Sofia who we offered back up to as was told was a gentle cat friendly dog. It appears though she is not cat friendly and though nice with people,can be it nervous at first meeting, she is def not a cat friendly dog and wants to kill the resident cat, so no negative words about adopter please as is def not their fault. She gets on with some dogs on walks and others not so, so it is hard to tell how she will be in a house with other dogs. She is basically homeless from 22nd of August, she has kennel space but that will be not very nice for her at all so if anyone could offer foster even for a short term period would be great. She loves her person and will be faithful and loving.
