Hello Bunty, my new little unexpected foster!

This is Bunty, my new little unexpected foster. She was on the list to be killed in a kill shelter in Romania and had an offer only for it to fall through. Was asked to take her and how could I refuse, look at that face. She was terrified the first day but is coming round and thinking oh its ok here and has slept for England really soundly, snoring away most of the time. She isn't ready yet for homing as still nervous and doesn't want to walk even in the garden but she will get there and make someone a super little pet.

Meet Peggy a 6 year old mixed breed little girl

Peggy is a 6 year old mixed breed little girl looking for her forever home. She is currently fostering in West Sussex with 3 other female dogs and 4 cats. Available for adoption further afield in uk if apllicant willing to travel. Peggy is incredibly affectionate and adores all people including the little children she has met. She is confident outgoing playful and great with all other dogs and cats. She can be homed as an only dog or with others. Peggy really enjoys her walks and she walks beautifully. We are looking for a loving home for her who is also dog experienced as she can be quite the escape artist. She's quick through doors and has been known to exit through a window so important her adopter is safety conscious and preferably has a porch or back utility room etc for safety....the "air lock" as I call it when doors opened. Olive from Romania update

Who remembers old Olive from Romania. She came to the UK in 2015 and we didn't realise she was so old until she got here, not that that would have made any difference. She was estimated to be 13 years old and needed 15 teeth extracted and had a few lumps and bumps here and there. I really thought I would have to adopt her myself as who would want a 13 year old, practically toothless dog. BUT there was a ton of applications for her and she bagged herself a fab home in Surrey and got a great retirement home. I hadn't heard anything of her for a couple of years and tentatively messaged the adopters thinking she was had probably gone to the rainbow bridge. BUT NO she is still here and still running around like a pup and here she is in her fav position. She must be around 16 years old now, am so happy for this old girl

Lovely Beatrice has found herself the perfect forever home.

So lovely Beatrice has found herself the perfect forever home. She has had a bit of a journey somehow ending up in the infamous Danyflor shelter she was taken out and caught up in the South Killingholme raid in March this year. She was held by the RSPCA for three months while they verified who the owners of all the animals were that were seized but eventually we got her back. Alas, we found out she had tested positive for heartworm and had not been treated. Thankfully she was only just at the beginning and it was treated successfully. She bagged herself a great foster home in the form of Kaisha and Greg and Tommo who have loved and cared for her and are really sad to see her go BUT she is now ready for her forever life and will be moving to Folkstone at the weekend with her new Mum and Dad who are super excited. Good luck Beatrice, it has been a pleasure to know and walk this girl everyday, she is a really special soul and we all love her very much.

Help Bootsy raise some funds for Animal Adoption International

Hi (Bună) everyone, my name is Bootsy. I am trying to raise money for my international fur friends who need our help! I am going to be running a marathon over Snowdonia on September 29th!
I am a rescue girl from the  Romania and I was rescued by a lovely charity called Animal Adoptions International when I was scared and sad on the streets. I came to the UK when I was 6months and was adopted by my Mam, Saskia when I was 9months. I am a very shy girl, because I struggle to trust people. I have been working very hard to gain confidence in puppy things I never knew. I love playing with plastic bottles I find (and recycling them), eating things im not supposed to, eating in general, barking at strangers then trying to sit on their knees 10 seconds after, playing with my cat sisters, hiking, running, eating, watching Jeremy Kyle, cuddles, eating and playing with my favourite toys. So I have come up with an idea to not only raise awareness for how much my international siblings need a home, but also to help raise some funds for my charity. They work around the clock and struggle with enough funds to provide the help my friends need! So my mother and I are going to run a marathon over Snowdonia, in Wales on the 29th of September. We train every day in the hopes we can get it all completed in the cut off time. My aim is to raise £1000 for my friends who really need some lovely food in their tummies, medication to get better, a warm bed to sleep in and some cuddles and kisses. Can anyone offer Bailey a foster home?

This is beautiful Bailey, he was supposed to be going to Canada but this has fallen through.  He is 4 years old and apparently a very nice and friendly fairly big boy. Can anyone offer him a foster home, am told he is a beautiful boy with a lovely nature.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR BELLA!

Bella is on the streets of Romania. For years a dear friend of mine has been taking her into her home to hide her from dogcatchers to keep her safe (see pics of her taken in). She has never been able to take her in permanently s she was not permitted to. I have known and met Bella myself over the years. She has never been priority for homing as my friend kept her safe and her life was okay.

But now things have changed.....my friend must leave her home urgently and she cannot do this knowing Bella maybe caught and killed by dog catchers once she's not there for her. Bella is ready to travel and be homed under our rescue just needs a foster home to go to.

Bella has always allowed little children to rub her tummy on the streets and is so friendly. She's an older lady now but so needs a chance.

Patsy is now well enough to travel to the UK and needs your help!

So this is beautiful Patsy, she was booked on a transport before Eurotunnel put in their 20 dogs rule but then she couldn't travel as she developed a cough. Urgent foster needed for poor Beatrice/Freya

Beatrice came from Romania, found herself seized by an RSPCA raid and then subsequently came to foster under us. Then foster no longer wanted her to stay so she faces going into kennels in the next day or 2 but it would be amazing if someone could take her in to foster her to prevent this on the understanding that separations from other dogs maybe necessary. We don't want another case of her being returned because of issues with other dogs. I've got many dogs here that don't get a long or not safe to be left together and we manage and need someone to do the same (if even necessary)

Snoopy has arrived

Snoopy has arrived to foster in London. Thankyou all who donated to get him here. We managed to raise £140 for his transport but I moved onto fundraising for the pups needing to come over this week before raising the last £60 to pay off Snoopys prep-vaccines etc. Can delay that for a little while.

He's a lovely boy settling well. Donations to Animal Adoption International achieve real results. From a pen and no future in Romania to a chance at life in a home in the UK.

Welcome to the Uk Logan

Logan arrived to foster with our fab, experienced fosterer Loraine yesterday. He's settled well and so far is clean in the house, good with the other 3 dogs she has (all from us!) and so far so good with the cats! He is very affectionate and nuzzles for cuddles.

Thankyou to everyone who donated last week for his transport to the UK and also to the ever kind Cristian for getting him to the transport meeting point and not charging the 30 euros fuel used...his internal transport in Romania was a donation.

After a Few weeks of assessment and Logan will soon be looking for his forever home.

Lily is adopted!

Another one joins the failed fosterers club! 2 days Michelle managed! Remember I posted saying I had recruited some new fosterers as we had so many dogs needing placing? That was last week...this week Michelle has adopted Lily who now lives with 2 other dogs including another one from me adopted years ago. So.......i need more fosterers again! Any volunteers?

Super Dash enjoying his new home and new family

This is little Patsy who can leave Romania on the 26th if we can raise her funds and find a foster. We are more desperate for fosterers than EVER

We are more desperate for fosterers than EVER. We are willing to provide full support and fund food etc for anyone who can volunteer to let one of our rescue dogs "crash with you for a while". We have dogs in UK kennels. Dogs waiting growing older in private shelter in Romania. Pups are growing up only knowing shelter life! We have child and cat friendly dogs needing places! We have dogs already fully assessed who can go onto foster elsewhere to free us up to take in the unassessed. We have some fab people that take on a foster dog when they can but we need more people on board! Please share. Animals lives depend on it. We are not taking on ANY more dogs until we can foster and move some of those we already have waiting.
