Had lovely updates on our first 3 Romanian rescues way back in 2012. Before that AAI had just been involved with Thai and UK rescue and one mum and pups from Bulgaria. Above is then and below is now. Clarea is now called Skyla and Mandy is Maddie, Cher remained Cher. Mandy and Cher are siblings and were with 11 pups living in an underground tunnel, the rest of the pups didn't survive, these 2 were the lucky ones who got to loving homes in the UK. Little Clara was found freezing at 2 months old in a field. Again she got lucky and found her home in the most bizarre way. The transporter knocked on the wrong door and said I have your dog. They had sadly just lost their dog and thought it was an omen and adopted her a few weeks later as they lived on the same street as the foster. The last ten years has flown by and seems unbelievable.
