Fosterers are the most vital part of rescue. They are the people that offer a lifeline to a homeless needy animal and fosterers are very hard to come by. Many people feel they could not cope with the emotional heartache of caring for, nurturing, training, assessing and giving all they can to a dog and then letting them go. TOMMY 16.8.18This is Tommy, he was homed last December but is being returned due to having a strong prey drive. He previously lived with cats in his foster home and showed no prey drive but as the adopter doesn't have cats it is hard to tell what he will be like now. We are looking for a foster home to reassess him so please PM if you can offer. is a 15 month old male Foxhound Cross. He is a lovely affectionate boy, very friendly with people and other dogs, he has been living in a house with adults and one teenager. He is fully house trained, sleeps well, has good recall and generally walks well on the lead.He is good with other dogs, although the trainer I have just spoke to on the phone that has worked with him a bit says a dog that wants to play a lot with other dogs is not good with other dogs but I just cant understand that as I assume it is in a puppy's nature to play with other dogs. BELLA 13.8.18Bella is on the streets of Romania. For years a dear friend of mine has been taking her into her home to hide her from dogcatchers to keep her safe (see pics of her taken in). She has never been able to take her in permanently s she was not permitted to. I have known and met Bella myself over the years. She has never been priority for homing as my friend kept her safe and her life was okay.
But now things have changed.....my friend must leave her home urgently and she cannot do this knowing Bella maybe caught and killed by dog catchers once she's not there for her. Bella is ready to travel and be homed under our rescue just needs a foster home to go to.
Bella has always allowed little children to rub her tummy on the streets and is so friendly. She's an older lady now but so needs a chance.
